This Fall, Sojourner Covenant Church will be preaching through "Covenant Affirmations", the foundational theological beliefs of our denomination. This document outlines each of the affirmations and places them in the historical context of our denomination.
The first affirmation in our series this fall 2011 is "The Centrality of the Word". Attached is a resource paper provided by the Evangelical Covenant Church explaining our understanding of scripture. Central is our approach to how we read the Bible and what that means for our affirmation that the Bible is the foundational document for our faith and life together as a denomination.
